Nairobi Open Source Hardware Community

The NOSHW is a community that started in 2019 by a group of hardware enthusiasts with a goal of sharing ideas about electronics hardware development capability.

From these humble beginnings, the community has since grown to 100+ members who meet regularly to not only share ideas but to support each other in their innovation journey.

The vision of the community is to grow into a national and regional movement that develops capability at a grassroot level and inspire young professionals to create hardware products.

Its membership ranges from aspiring engineers and makers to industry established innovators with commercially available products in the market.”

The NOSHW community strives to create an accommodating environment for both beginners and experts in the hardware field to help grow the local ecosystem through sharing and collaboration using open source tools and resources.
