Sunny Irrigation makes solar powered irrigation systems financially accessible to smallholder farmers, allowing them to increase their crop yield and generate greater income.

They market solar water pumps to small farmers via a PAYG model, bolstered by the IoT agricultural advisory services which enable farmers to earn more and therefore assure us of repayment. Farmers pay a 10% down payment of USD $50) and make monthly payments of $60 USD for a period of 9 months, using the mobile money service M-Pesa, directly to our Sunny Irrigation account
